M&M Bowling

Sorry about that, my blog would not let me post anything for a while.

Anyway, you are probably wondering what M&M bowling is. Well, M&M bowling is where you have all the colors of M&M candy and each one has an action you have to do while you're bowling. For example, red = act like a granny, yellow = spin three times then bowl, orange = bowl between your legs, green = Tippy toes, blue= heaviest ball. After we all split into three teams, there being three of us, we put our fun nicknames into the screen. I was voted team captain of our team, so I got to go first. I chose an M&M out of the bowl, and the color I got was yellow. I was so happy after my turn because I had gotten a spare, and all the other girls are happy as well for me because that meant our team is winning. After a while, though, we stopped working as a team and started averaging points as individuals, and I was tied with one of our leaders whom I will call, Sister Stacy. Sister Stacy, without being cautiously aware of us both being in first, was meanwhile taking pictures of us all. After a a while all those who were in first, or at least near first, gradually went to last, and all those who were in last gradually went to first.

This reminds me of a scripture in Matthew 19 : 30, and it says: But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Near the end of this activity I was able to make History. I am the first person I know about to get a gutter with bumpers. Anyway in the end I got in dead last place, at least I think dead last. The one who won was Sister Mush, that being here nickname our class gave her, and she started out second to last place her final score was somewhere around 128. Going home was fun too we were able to sing some fun songs and tell stories and I even got to know some things I never really knew about the other girls.
Write you next time on Wednesday.

Prep - Treck part 2

Scroll down to the first part of this story to understand what I'm talking about here.

Tiffany and I made several goals on our way to the temple, for example, our goal was to gain 50 waves back at us by the time we reached one of the high schools. Instead we received somewhere around 65, and by the time we reached the Temple we had to get 100 waves bake, and, instead, we received 151 waves. We were especially happy towards those who encouraged us.

THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED!!!

Anyway you are all probably wondering the lesson I learned. So, earlier that morning, because I asked my Mom and Dad told me what I should and should not bring. One of the things my Mom and Dad had told me to bring were my hiking shoes, but instead I brought regular shoes. When we finally made it to the Temple, after two hours, I noticed a sharpish pain on my heal and it was wet. I lifted my foot out of my shoe and, you most likely already know what I saw, Voila there it was, a big blister, and to make things worse it was bleeding. I didn't even notice I had it till I stopped, and I am happy to say it doesn't hurt, and I don't even realize it's there.

Sorry for no pictures I'll make sure to take some on our actual Treck.

Prep - Treck part 1

Prep-Trek

It all started after I woke myself up at 6:00 this morning, and finished getting ready ( about 7:45 a.m.).
My Dad drove my brother and I to the church, and we went in to go find our groups
(they called them "family groups"). My family group had to chose a name before we left, being teenagers, we chose the name of, "The Enterprise".
On our way out the door I met a girl, not particularly someone I didn't know, but someone I got to know better. I will call her Tiffany. We played a game that, I hope, made others happy as well as us. The idea of the game was to wave to all the cars passing us and if they waved back then that would be a point. Walking was also fun, when Tiffany and I weren't waving, we were talking to everybody in our group, or the other groups ahead of us we caught up to. I also learned a very valuable and painful lesson.

CLIFF HANGER!!! Check in tomorrow for part 2 around seven o'clock.

Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm here to share my experiences with church activities that the
LDS Young Men and Young Women do every Wednesday.
I hope is to inspire youth, and others.
I also hope to get loads of good feed-back from everyone.
